Syriah Williams Testimony

"Receiving Dr. Erika Jasper’s scholarship during my senior year of high school was such a meaningful blessing as I began my journey at Florida State University. The $1,000 scholarship helped ease some of the financial responsibilities that come with attending college and allowed me to put more of my focus toward my education and reaching my goals.

Now, as a student at FSU studying Biological Science with aspirations of becoming a dentist, I’m incredibly grateful for the investment Dr. Jasper made in my future. Her generosity reminded me that there are people within our communities who believe in students and want to see us succeed. I will always appreciate the support she gave me at such an important point in my life.

"Receiving Dr. Jasper’s scholarship was truly life-changing for me. Her generosity gave me the opportunity to use half of the scholarship to travel to Thailand, where I was able to work and study in public health clinics. That experience not only strengthened my passion for healthcare but also reminded me of how one person can have an impact on someone’s future. 

I used the other half of the scholarship to further my education as I continue to work towards becoming a nurse practitioner. Dr. Jasper believed in me and invested in my future at a time when that support meant so much. Her kindness and willingness to help students pursue their dreams have made a lasting impact on many lives. 

I will always be grateful for the opportunity she gave me. I have complete faith that Dr. Jasper will bring that same compassion, dedication, and commitment to serving the Leesburg community!!"
